What the hell. . . Every season there is a mid-January thaw on the east coast. It's always for about a week at a time and the worst part is that it always brings in a solid 2+ inches of rain ruining the coverage at our mountains.

Its called a "January Thaw".
Pretty aptly named eh? We get one every year. I wouldn't worry about. Hopefully the jetstream will figure itself out and we'll get some colder air in here to turn this rain into snow again.

i have a love hate relationship with it.

i hate it because, well it melts the snow...

i like it because it ALWAYS happens just when the parks at my mountains open up so that makes them all soft and easy to get back my A-Game

yeah, i hate it. i get all stoked for the first few snow falls then it randomly gets warm and rainy again. not a fan at all.

Sucks for you. It was really warm the last couple days and as soon as i started to precipitate it cooled off and now we're supposed to get a decent amount of snow. Super sick.
