What's the good word on Jackson/Targhee right now?

I know you guys are getting dumped on while 4hrs south it rains on us in Park City... was this storm enough to actually fill things in? Or are you still taking your life in your own hands if you dare to venture off piste? Heading up for a couple days this weekend and I'm trying to figure out if I need to bring my rock skis... any intel is appreciated!

we got 2-3 feet in that last storm. The whole mountain is pretty much open with decent coverage. Still hit a few rocks here and there but overall its pretty good.

Got my first faceshot saturday

There was a bunch of fresh snow, but it really is on top of dirt/rocks. You can definitely find some soft turns if you look for em (particularly up on Teton Pass) but we still need more coverage to really start hitting the bigger lines.

Came up from PC and hit Targhee on new years day and Jackson the day after. Targhee was sick- found some untouched deep stashes in the trees and didn't hit any rocks. Jackson had an inversion goin on but was still pretty nice all over... some rocks for sure, but nothing like the death turns in Utah.

Now that all the fresh from the last storm is packed out its clear that we still need a couple more strong snows before coverage is plush. Most the mountain is open and skiable (with the exception of really fun stuff), so were at least doing better than most places.

Welp, came up here to get this storm and the weather report continues to get gnarlier. Looks like tomorrow is gonna be windy as shit. Still going out at Targhee tomorrow and Thursday will have gray jacket and teal pants. Not from here so would be stoked to hook up with someone who knows the area.
