Whats the fastest "Ski Tracks" speed you have recorded?

Fastest is 89.3 on my 195 GS skis. That was wearing baggy clothing too. I could get over 95 easy in a speed suit

68mph using an actual GPS device.

Shit gets harder once you break like 63mph barrier so you guys are crazy for going 70++. I was getting fucking scared charging 68mph haha

you can bomb on the run coming down from the park at keystone. I was bombing it with my friends and one of them got 142km/h. Im not very big so i hit about 110km/h and it gets way too lose for me.

I highly doubt it, unless you were tucking and you weight like 120 kilos...on the jj you would have bailed out with a slight change of snow or catching an edge...I've done KL (or speedski) back when i used to race and I hit over 125km/h on a KL run with KL skis and catsuit. Could barely feel my legs at the end of the run from tucking that long and it was already pretty fucking scary at that speed, knowing that if you catch an edge you could really fuck yourself up...

By the way, world record is 251km/h, http://www.kl-france.com/modules/edito/content.php?id=5

Hahahaha what a joke. I got 74 on the downhill they made for the '02 Olympics at my mountain definitely pooped myself.

69mph at Mammoth. Felt pretty damn fast and I don't think I could have gone much, if any past 70 on the run I set that speed. Schweitzer has a really steep groomer that I want to hit first run and just bomb as fast as possible to see if I can break 70.

speed track thing here sucks, you can hit 60 km/h tops if you hit it from the designated start.

I'm toying with the idea of posting someone at the entrance and use the groomer above it as an inrun.

Shit is mad icy though.

137.9 Kph in Isola 2000, French Alps on the 10 April 2014. Freshly dressed surface. Had done 110 Kph prior and didnt notice the difference, amazing buzzzzz!!

I got 62 mph the other day which is pretty good for riding on powder skis. It must be so scary getting close to 80. Going 60 was pretty fast

116km/h in a speedo before pond skimming. That's the result

But next season I should try with the app and see how fast I can go

Only really ever tried ski tracks once over in blue cow, manage to hit just under 50 miles an hour, I thought this was good considering I was on twin tips and in Australia.

How are you guys measuring this? Haha i wanna see how fast i can go cos thats real quick^

I think Ski Tracks is a phone app. I have also used my car GPS. I put it in my backpack or pocket then checked max speed after my run.

98 degrees? is that actually correct? that's genuinely just freefalling for part of it haha, and to everyone:Ski tracks is absolute shit, do you know how inaccurate it is? set me at 100km/h and I'm not a very fast skier, and that was against the wind, on like a blue/red at most. No chance is that correct, also I've compared it to more accurate devices sometimes and just know it's shit.

He said 98%... Vertical is 90 degrees. 98 degrees would be inverted (i.e. like a ceiling, not a floor).

Christ, some of you guys(assuming you're not lying) are nuts, I've only ever aimed for 70+(mph you stupid nerds), but I've only definitely(~) got 62.

This makes me wonder how fast ABM was going when he did that huge three in mutiny. It seemed like he was going pretty fucking fast.

I use Alltrails, but my highest is 80.3mph.

That was first run on freshly waxed 189 Pettitor's on fresh groomed ice. Ambush, Big Sky.

sorry to be that guy but i really don't think you can go much faster than 60s on park/freeride skis wearing baggy clothing. if you got radared, great, otherwise i think you're all wrong in taking the app's word for it. those things arent too accurate i dont think

Truth. I tucked down a run on 210cm super g's and the highest I could get was 73 mph. There's no way people are getting like 80+ on park skis.
