Whats the cheapest way to stay at hood week after next?

I know there's a few places to camp, but I'm not sure of their names off the top of my head, but there is a hostel in government camp, I think its 20 bucks a night.

Good info, thanks.
I'm trying to find the campsites you're talking about but not having any luck. I wanted to call ahead or something or at least figure out where we're going. Anyone know what camp sites are good this time of year?

honestly man just your car is always a good choice i do it all the time and just bring a couple of blankets and your pretty good, but just my 0.02

Yeah but I'm going with 2 other dudes in a little 2 door piece of shit so that's not gonna fly. We just need a good place to pitch a tent

mt hood hostel $20 a night: (888) 865-4597

If you really want to get rained on in the woods, ask s.miller, he's got plenty of experience.

or bring a good sleeping bag + pad and build a good snow cave that'll keep the heat.

i don't know if you want to do this for a week, but me and my buddies just drove down a random ass road near govy and came to a dead end at a collapsed bridge over a creek. perfect camping spot. maybe if it's warm...

Probably ok in the summer, but if you try that this time of year it might be July before somebody finds your frozen bodies.
