Whats the best way to center mount skis at home.

ok so if you're going to do it at home, this is how you do it:

make sure you have your skis and bindings ready. now measure a line at the center. if it is premarked, good! if not, measure both ways (probably tip to tip) to make sure you have it center. If that seems weird, don't worry.

After that, grab your skis and bindings and boots and bring them to a shop and get them mounted. Specify center mount. And you're done!

Otherwise, you'll fuck em up.

sorry that sounded harsh, but seriously, if you really wanna learn, have your shop show you or something, you can ruin a pair of skis doing it

if there urban skis or ones you dont care about them just draw a line at center, setup your bindings in the right spot and mark where the holes are gonna be with a marker. use a drill bit slightly smaller then the screw and drill yourself some holes. be careful though cause you can go right through pretty easy. doesnt really matter if you dont care about em though.

If you cant find the center of the ski on your own I highly doubt that you have the skill to mount the bindings without a jig.
