For all of the music lovers~what is the most crisp headphone with best highs, mids, and lows for the price?

i was looking at the studio beats but they're just to expensive... you are paying for the name, and thats bullshit.. so, who knows the best headphone that your not paying for just the name?

PS: +K to all contributors.

Skullcandys. They have awesome sound and are super durable so you'll get a ton of wear and tear out of them.

WeSC Bongos. They look fresh and the sound quality is really good. Relatively cheap too:

I use Allen and heath xone xd2-53 for mixing and they are sex. But if I were you I'd go to guitar center and ask what theyd say. Going for a studio headphone would be best. Or look at aiaiai tma-1.

if your looking into studio beats that means you have around 300 to spend...look into pioneers and senheisers

sorry for the dub post but i forgot Grado, theyre incredible and have many different price options

Well IDK what you're doing with yours, but I've never had a pair break on me and the sound always manages to rattle my ears. Especially the base, I'd say thats what I like most about them.

Here we go, another skullcandy shit-storm thread. Awh hell, why should I have expected different from "What's the best headphone" thread.

To contribute: I've never had any problem with my over-ear skullcandy headphones. They are almost a year old now and show no signs of wear and tear, but if they did I can always use the warranty.

Tried these in an Apple store a couple years ago (4 I think?) and they were sick. I wanted them sooo bad but they're like $400 or something

Yea i know what you mean. I had many candies break, so i finally switched to an earbud called munitio. Super legit

anyone who says bose is dead wrong. Check out Grado's Sennheisers, or Pioneers. Each headphone has slightly different qualities to. Grados tend to have really clear mids and trebbles while sennheisers and pioneers tend to be heavier on the low ends. If you can, try before you buy.

Check out the headfi forums. Its the NS of headphones. Lots of good information.
