Whats the best inbounds powder line youve ever had?

I think the best line i ever had was at loveland colorado in there big steep wide open bowl, i dont really know what its called but its all the way to the right if your on the chairlift and when i skied it it was untracked and i remeber feeling like i was in alaska or something, it was that amazing.

But then again i havent had that many powder days in my life so im sure that would be normal for people who get to go skiing alot.

this past christmas break, at mt hood meadows. steep trees with light powder up to my chest. it was technically within the resort boundaries but not many people ski it so it was untracked all day. plus it was snowing super hard the whole time.

15 minute laps. 3" predicted...got alot more. no lines. no people. "free refills".

Fantasy Ridge- shot 6, biggest adrenaline rush of my life, biggest line of my life, biggest crash of my life..

55 degree headwall, 2 foot wide choke, 30 fters littered all over the whole face...bottomless pow and the hike weeds out the weak/pussies fo sho.

2008 - Alta, underneath wildcat, snorkel deep

2007 (this season) - Alta, eagles nest, deep deep

2007 (last season) - Snowbird, lower baldy, pretty deep

First tracks down Psychopath at Bridger Bowl after we got 78" of 3% in 24 hours. The snow was actually above my head and I couldn't hit the bottom. That day and the day after you had to take a breath, ski a few turns, and repeat until you got to the bottom of each run. Then swim out the flats to the 6' deep channels running back to the lifts.

That I took pics of, this day didn't suck:

The real best days I don't take photos on- wastes too much time!

I took a trip to Utah this year, hit up solitude, shit was unreal, waist deep pow and nobody around. Is that a pic of the ridge on the opposite side of where you enter into the big slough thing from Summit? Sorry I dont really remember names of anything.

i dont know what hte big slough thing is..

its above honeycomb canyon..your staring it in the face whne you get off teh summit lift.

waist deep powder at snowbird was one of the first on gad 2 for the day and it was pretty empty for the rest of the day so i was able to lap that with first tracks for most of the day.

I'm 15 and I'm 5'2. so im reaally short. ive grown a lot recently too, so 3 or 4 years ago I was in vermont and one day there was a huuge snowfall over one night and we were almost snowed in. Because I was so short the powder was atleast my waist all day. That was my first powder day but it was really fun

I had three days like that one time at northstar in tahoe before it got all renovated. That was amazing as well. Actually now that i think about it I think that was the best I ever had but the other one was up there because it was so wide open and steep the trees at northstar arent steep at all but the powder was awsome.

wolf creek like every day i am there. sometimes its extremely windy and sucks but if its not windy, its almost always amazing.

Thousands all over Utah this year! brighton alta solitude the bird canyons pc even deer valley and sundance. one helluva year negros

Couple weeks ago at Alta. My first trip down there wasn't a rediculous amount of pow but most I ever skied. Got some faceshots so I was happy. It was in the Lower Eaglenest area.

No Name Trees at Wolf Creek on 2/3/08. 31 inches overnight, 18 inches more while we were there. Faceshots every turn, riding with my homies. Can't get any better.

Now Im rethinking..possibly it was Brain Damage at Solitude..different day though..snowing 4 in/hour

I was in Utah during winter break and they got 2ft each day I was there (3 days total), and it was empty, no lines what so ever. Best day of the three was def the last one at Alta, every run was waist deep, so awesome

sun bowl up in whistler, me and 2 friends were the first people to ski it that day and it was fucking amazing, white rooms and face shots on every turn

is it hard to ski powder w/ center mounted narrow park skis?

one of my bests this year was magic mountain on march 1st, for all you ec maggots it was very good, face shots almost every turn

Great thread. For me it was dropping into Honey Comb Canyon at Solitude in UT. Never have I ever skied snow up to my chest like that. Simply unsane. Beautiful, glorious faceshots all day long. Completely untouched. One of the most underrated mountains in my opinion.

duuuuude word, looks like so much fun. being from the east it looks like it would be fun to hit without pow too.

tahoe sierra... first runs in every "inbounds" bowl...castle... jacks (multiple laps there).. avi... dropped a 13-15ft cliff skied out... snow shot up to my armpits... it was siiiiick!!!!!!!

spankys ladder first tracks after a 2.5 foot storm. and then after that, the waterfall off peak chair the next day with like an additional foot.

Whistler is a whole nother level!

opening day of the backside at stevens pass. 15'' overnight on top of 3ft+ the previous few days. got in line at 715, lifts didnt spin until 10, first chair up big chief and DD. skied right underneath southern cross and could not see more than 1/4 of the run. chest deep and stayed that way allll day. wortht my seasons pass for that one run

word, i got first run in coffin chute after like 20cm overnight (not huge, but still untracked, so yeah). so fun maching into that thing without worring about a bomb hole.

ok here it goes...

staying at the cliff club at snowbird. snows 2 feet of the lightest fluffiest champagne pow over night AND first thing in the mornign they close the pass due to avy danger. there were less than 100 people skiing until 1 o clock in the after noon. my cousin and i had first tracks on literally every single run we took until lunch when the crowds took over. best pow day/days of my life. video time... check it

only some clips are from that day because we didnt want to waste time filming...but thats basically our trip

WOW that looks like sooo much fun. I like the tune from idea too. thats all i play when its a powder day.

i think last year at steamboat after a 2-3 ft dump. no lift lines, waist to chest deep pow, it was amzing everywhere

can i just point out that in my opinion....storm skiing >>> bluebird skiing. and that "free refills" is the single most stokifying term evah. (think about it)

I think it depends. If you can see infront of your face then yeah free refills are awsome but if its whiteout and windy i would rather take a bluebird day. but i prefer it to snow when im in the trees and blubird in bowls and chutes and other stuff besides tree skiing.
