Whats the best event in your area?

Yup, simple question... I want to know which events were the best in your area!

Not just which was the coolest/most money, but which events had a great vibe, and were overall fun as hell to attend!

 
People seem to have fun at pretty much all the events. Lake Louise usually has a pretty fun rail jam at the start of every season, and Fernie's is usually pretty good and its about 2-3 weeks after the Louise contest. People seem to like the Lake Louise Slopestyle Contest. And The Kimberly Big Air too. Fernie usually has their Big Air right near the end of their season, and that's usually where I have the most fun.
 
^ yea, all the resort comps are fun and freshtival is a pretty chill place to hang out.
 
hey, come to think of it we dont really have any other huge events other than freshtival.
 
freshtival is cool but we cant go into it. LAke louise has that opening season rail jam.

i hear the fernie big air is fun but its always the AB champ weekend so i never go.
 
^ yea you can. i would totally do it if i had footage from this year. You need to give steve footage of yourself proving that you are worthy, and you have to get your parent to sign a waiver if you are under 18. Sadly i have no footage of my self. i wish i did though.
 
The rail jams at FRESHtival have been going way down since the first year. All that happens is they just get more money and keep trying to make it radder and radder. The first year was dope. A little bit of history happend there, whereas the last two years have been slightly more dissapointing, still kind of fun. Like Two (well almost 3) years ago, that 4 foot wide pink wallride made me want to shoot a certain wall planter. Hahahha, oh yeah, and then last year, that wall ride was kind of cool, but rails I like better.
 
i agree with k2ripper, the first year was so cool, after that it went kinda hollywood, this year i would rather see a really nice rail line set up, instead of a wallride or something
 
i think thats the only trick turpin did the whole day, he didnt even bother to hit the top rails, he would just take speed into the wall

he' sso chill...he basically made by wanna buy fujaitves, which i ended up doing. i think freshtival is pretty much tbe best event ever
