Whats so bad about Airblasters?

I just wanna know, cause i don't really get the whole argument. Something about clothes, and who should wear what? sounds a bit gay.

Since skiing has turned into a sport of fashion over function, Airblasters have been deemed as gay. And since society sees gay's as lesser individuals, Airblasters are titles as lesser.

Unfortuanatly, since everyone wants to bee the coolest looking person on the slopes instead of the best skier, we aren't allowed to wear them without being called Faggots.

Thanks for the maturity, you twelve year old cunts bitches. I hate you for conforming to society.

I don't hear people crying foul over burton gloves or pants, or R.E.D. helmets which are a subcompany of burton. I also never hear anything about Anon (also subcompany of burton). It seems stupid to me.

yo it has nothing to do with it being from a snowboard company.. the point of them is that snowboarders rock them on thier front leg, so people can tell easier if they are going switch or regular. since its pretty painfully obvious whether or not a skiier is going switch or regular it's just a lame attempt to bite at snowboardings style yet again... skiiers keep trying to pull them off, but they just cant

what about natural or unnat? think about that, i think there sweet cuz airblaster as a company represents this: having fun. it doesnt matter if your skiing snowboarding snowblading (yahoo!) or whatvr else, your doing it for the fun of it. that legbag symoblzies your there to have a good time

i need to get one. EVERYONE, IF YOU HAVE AN AIRBLASTER THAT MEANS YOU ARE HAVING MORE FUN SKIING. if you see someone wearing one, go ask them, does that leg bag make skiing more fun for you, i think not. rock it if you want, i dont think its gay i just think its pointless.

Slightly random, somewhat offtopic, but when I was like 4-5 ish I had these things called "gators" that were velcroed around my boots and over the bottom of my rockin baby-blue one piece to keep snow out. I guess at this point in time ski pants didnt come with powder belts/guards, or my onepiece wasnt meant for skiing just running around in the snow, either way... Ill try to find a photo. They look just like airblasters.

It started back in the 1980s when the gay scene was really starting to take off. Since being gay was really not socially acceptable the homosexuals had to figure out secret ways of identifying themselves. First they had the earring. Then once that was figured out they decided they needed something that was not only gayer, but more functional. That folks is how the Airblaster was born.

stop hating so much, hardly any skiers wear them, personaly i think they're cool and i'd wear them if they didn't cost like 80 bucks or w/e, the point isn't for the pockets, those are a little unecessary, but what stuff that you wear isn't? all you haters are rockin XXXL pants and your bitchin about clothing that isn't sensible? shut the fuck up..retards..the point of airblasters is to distinguish switch for snowboarders, natty and unnaty for skiers, they just decided to put pockets on it because its a cool idea.

if i wanted something to help distinguish between unatty and natty, i could tie something off on my leg or use a bandana. also how would it help to distinguish between unatty and natty. my natural spin is to the left so which leg do i where it on. what happens if i wear it on the wrong leg? it would just confuse people. airblasters are pointless for skiers.

i didn't say that, your taking my quote out of context i said XXXL pants aren't necessary, if you think they are, you havee onneee fucking ginourmous ass

ive worn my snowboarder friends once or twice just to fool around there cool, but its kinda just a steeze thing in my opnion, but what i dont like is tight pants or jeans while skiing, cause i dont care how much you like to be different cause its painful to look at, thats just my 2 cents

i just think that there's almost no purpose, and it's biting someone else's steez. the same goes for bandanas coming out of the pockets or whatever. if you want to wear either, fine, but everyone who commented on the huge emphasis on fashion nowadays is right on, because skiing shouldn't just be about who's wearing what, and if you're not good enough you shouldn't be weearing all nice gear and whatnot. i know i fall prey to this mentality too, i just wish i didn't because it doesn't agree with the main idea behind freestyle/newschool skiing, that being free-style, not a particular style you must wear or else mad kids will hate. word.

okay so why don't you hate on people that wear oversized shit, and your assuming everyone wear's airblasters, soooooo few skiers wear them, why spend your time crying about it?

half you kids spend 80 dollars on joystick or nice poles that are gonna break in a year when you could just steal some from you mountain or get some at value village for 5 bucks. so dont bitch at people for getting something for style. i dont have a legbeg but if i got one it would be just to support airblaster because they are a sick company.

i personally think they are pointless but if you wanna wear one go ahead, its a waste of 70 dollars but at least your supporting a cool company

spend your money on what ever u guys want, but airblasters are for snowboarders to wear on their front leg so people know when they are doing switch hits, they have absolutley no purpose in skiing

i wear a hat under my helmet because it fits better that way and its more comfortable than just wearing my helmet
