So Redbull sponsors our biggest snowskate race of the year cuz one of the regional event coordinators owns the snowskate company that puts it on.
Today I was one of a couple people that got a comped pass cuz I came a day early to dig the banked slalom course and calibrate the timer.
THEREFORE, Redbull paid for my lift ticket.
So! Technically! I was sponsored by Redbull for a day ????
HA! It's big time for me baybeeee!!!
For real though, these comps are the dorkiest shit lol. We might as well have been shooting off model rockets. All in good fun.
But! Get this!
70 competitors this year at the Boyd Hill Sorta Natura, 4 of which are women. We all typically place pretty high, so there's a good chance it'll be a lady taking the top time home this year.
Sure, we have our own women's division, but every single one of our times still break top 10 overall...
Even though yall didn't ask, I'm telling ya - women are straight up crushing the snowskate banked slalom game right now.

Ladies, I love yall so much, but there's a bit too many snakes in my NS grass right now.
I keep getting pissed off and digging myself further into the troll hole. It's exhausting and not worth it. Like I'm cutting heads off the hydra.

Been going way too hard on adrenaline lately, and I think I had a paranoid moment. Meeting a lot of people while on tour, so 3 dudes sent me violent threats this week, 1 of them being some NS rando high school kid. Sorry guys, I'll keep it together. They can kiss my ass.

I'm pretty surprised vail allowed such a thing, but even ski patrol was sending the jump so I guess everything was kosher. They were cracking down on people bringing beers in bags at the lift, but plenty of booze still made it up, if you could hide it on person it was fair game.
