There were 3 runs and top 2 counted. Fenway was a pretty sweet venue even though the athletes didn't seem too hyped about the kicker and landing that was a sheet of ice!

Just saw the videos.... uhh.... Emma's cork 7 japan was waayyyyy sicker than Lisa's sw 7. she didnt even get the grab! but so stoked Lisa won, she is a damn boss. And Tiril did i 5. which was unexpected... i was hoping Lisa would send a dub

Conditions were sub par I was pumped they threw anything! Either way I was rooting for lisa's jean jacket. Win win. So friggin cold- it's weird standing watching skiing and not being at a mountain haha
 
Okay. All I need to do today is finish up like 3-4 loads of laundry, wax my skis and write a 1000 word essay. If I don't do at least 2 of these things I am a major fuck up. Will be back later.

Volkl One is a great intermediate ski, but can be fun for an expert. but the Two = OMG

Damn I feel like such a nerd but I fucking love school haha. Like not so much waking up, paying attention in class or anything like that. But idk. When I'm not skiing I'm usually just chillin by myself and it gets pretty boring. I'm in a major that I really like and I fill in my free time with homework and studying and it's really not bad. I love doing work on my own in my own time. It's so fucking weird but idk. I love school lmao.

I love education too! My struggle is the balance between school, skiing, full time job, and trying to build a career that requires travel during the most inconvenient times. I'm feeling the feelings of regret for always missing out on one thing or the other. That's why you should not do what I did and leave. STAY IN AND FINISH IT BEFORE YOUR ADULTING BECOMES TOO ADULT.

I'm not ready to adult. I think I might end up getting a phd just so that I don't have to fully adult for a while.

ReFreakingTweet... Props to you for working full time! I work part time and with my major I feel like I'm drowning half the time. I have no social life anymore except at the mountain because I replaced it with skiing haha

I wore boots with a little bit of a heel on them to class today, and I think they gave me actual toe bang.

Also, last weekend I did blow with a stripper in the bathroom of a topless bar. /claim
 
Anybody else accidentally ran over a squirrel... or any other wildlife... while on skis? Definitely was not intentional! He ran in the middle of the run and my friend and I went around him, and he decided to run directly under my skis!!! making me look like a terrible person who runs down wildlife on my skis! I swear he hit me!! He also ran in to the woods after I hit him so as far as I know he did make it out alive! poor squirrel :'(

I hit one going about 50 down a groomer a few years back. Felt its body break under my skis and saw a patroller fling its very limp, dead corpse into the woods when i rode the lift back up.

Found out my "friends" are going to a concert on my birthday when we supposedly had plans to go to Canada.

I know they know about it because I'm psycho and wrote it on all of their calendars. Hmm well, lets see how this goes.

Become a photographer, only if you never want spare money in your bank for more than a month at a time. Buying a new camera body makes me want to cry.
 
I'm thinking of taking my entire quiver to the hill and getting high FPS shots of chop straightlining, to show how different skis act at speed on uneven terrain. My husband made these clips for funhttp://gfycat.com/CreativeGoodnaturedAmericanindianhorse and it's fascinating (to me anyways) to see how the different skis handle (granted they are different conditions). Not sure if anyone else would be interested though.
