Hi I go to college at montana state university in bozeman mt. and I would like to know what ski resorts will still be open on the weekend of the 18th and the 19th with-in a 8 hour drive?
 
i heard alta will be open tell like the end of april, beginning of may.. but id check it out. cause its just what i "heard"
 
Some of my friends go to Utah for a week every year over Altas closing weekend and they are going next weekend so that is why I am assuming that...

just checked red lodge's website. they are definitely open saturday and sunday- think it said 30 bucks for tickets. i will be there.
 
go to great divide sick park and nineteen dollar tickets and a two hour drive from bozeman and its hot there me and my friend went there and slept in the paking lot in his van in march and we didnt get cold

yes alta's last day is the 19th of April. unless they got a extended lease im pretty sure thats there last day....

anywho, im going to be at Snowbird april 20-24.... and alta the 19th for the last day.. its a good time.

Snowbird/Alta has been getting puked on..
 
Alright sounds good! I don't know if they'll be open friday, but the pond skim is on sunday. the ponds will be open saturday as well i think

any thoughts on if red lodge or great divide will be better this weekend? snow quality? weather? better party atmosphere?also, i'm thinking great divide would be a little closer (to big sky), but i'm not sure...
 
anyone know if redlodge will have any park features open this weekend? their site says they have 12 features. just curious if they are going to be set up still for the reopening.
 
pretty sure its only hiking till rlissc sometime in may, anyone hike bridger last weekend? what was the snow like?
