What’s it like being with a ski woman

I imagine it would be really sick having someone whose hyped to do your favorite shit with you. Or is it over rated and nicer to just have alone time away from the lady? Do I just pee in her butt and call it a day? Thoughts?

OP you asking the wrong crowd

Dawg I’m sure there’s someone. Could you imagine riding the chairlift out in beautiful nature on a snow day, bumpin trap music in your ears, downin beers with a lil shawty?

My fiance is an expert skier that went to a racing academy, it's really nice. I kinda always thought I wouldn't care about skiing with my partner, but honestly its so awesome to be able to share our number one passion. The reality is the number of male expert skiers vastly outnumbers the number of women, but don't let that discourage you...just having a partner who is down to ski a lot is great, even if they are intermediate or just learning.

You can't send forever anyway, and someone's gotta snap a pic of you doing sick stunts anyway

But yes, also pee in her butt

That’s awesome, yeah I feel like you could have so much to talk about too instead of boring the other rambling about your hobbies.

just need a woman that can get down the mountain and I’m stoked

My girlfriend skis park and we've been together for alost 7 years now. I'm really lucky to have her as basically all my friends that I would ski with when I was younger don't really ski anymore. This year we took the winter off to film street together, and while it has been a challenging winter, I'm definitely grateful to have her once again, as she is more motivated than a lot of people I've filmed with. Having a gf that skis is great, and I don't know if I'd be this motivated to ski still if it wasn't for her. And also it's my first and only girlfriend so I don't know what it's like to have a gf who doesn't ski lol

Honestly the most important thing if you are a passionate skier is that your partner recognizes that, supports it, and is hyped for you. What you don’t want is someone really controlling who can only be happy for you if they are involved.

I've never had a girlfriend, but while I was waiting for my layover in SLC this cute girl with a ski bag inquired about my Full Tilt Booties, we got to talking and she told me this crazy story... “About a year ago I was chillin in O’shucks having some adult beverages. My girlfriends had all gone back to our condo (we were renting at red pines) to hit the pool but I was enjoying the night so I stayed. Some dude came and put his hands around my hips and whispered in my ears “hey honey have you ever heard of Newschoolers”. I was like wtf and pushed his arms off of me and stood up. When I stood up and turned around I was facing the closest thing to a troll I had ever seen. He asked me my name and if I wanted a drink. I told him to fuck off but he insisted. Ended up talking to him for a good bit and he bought me dinner. Said he was a big deal on some skier website called Newschoolers. Anyways when last call came I didn’t have a ride home. Realizing this he immediately jumped at the opportunity. I figured what’s the worst that could happen.20 minutes later I was covered in sweat, Cheeto dust, and oddly colored semen in the back of a beige Subaru Outback. I figured the sex would hide the smell of ass and mold but his small cock only made it worse. He used his t shirt to towel me off and then we awkwardly got dressed in the dark. He didn’t even walk me up to my condo he left me in the parking lot. The next morning on my way out the door there was a note that said: HMU shawty XOXO -Evan Heath. It was left with a phone number I never bothered to text.”

Kinda crazy fellas, we gotta set the bar higher.

It's what's on the inside that matters

Unless she's got them blond hairs hangin' out the hat/googles... got me weak in the knees

Somewhat right. I’d rather have a 7 who’s cool as fuck and gets me than a 9.5 with a dry personality and doesn’t understand me.

I say this because I was talking to an absolute rocket of a female for a month and she didn’t understand outdoorsy stuff at all and hated it. Typa chick who would rather go shopping than go on a relaxing sunset trip to the mountains typa shit.

having a significant other that skis or boards is nice but I think its also important and healthy that in a relationship both parties have things/hobbies that are "theirs"

Regardless of the answer to this question I love the yearning for romance and I think u just need to go explore this quandary for yourself my G

Girls at the skatepark: skater boys are so annoying, I wish they would stop hitting on me. They just wanna fuck!

Didn’t want to read all the answers so sorry if I’m repeating or crossing over another answer but: it’s really nice.

My wife loves skiing but it didn’t start like this. When I met her, I lived in Colorado and she had no interest. Then we took a trip to Purgatory in Durango. She went from wedge to wedge Christy to parallel turns in like 109 yards. I thought “wow. I am the worlds best instructor”. Turns out, she had a season pass and lessons when she was a kid. She is Finnish and had a small resort in her hometown but she has never really had “her sport”.

She kind of liked it and rented in Colorado. At this point, I said “you are a natural. I think this could be your sport”.

Then we moved to NZ and she got her own (shitty) pair of used rental skis. She started liking it a bit more.

When she REALLY got the bug is when she got a job as a beginner instructor in australia and we lived on the mountain. That was the turning point.

Now she loves it and encourages me to ski too. It is her sport. I make sure she has nice gear too. 10/10 would recommend.

It is great to have a SO there to support and push you to do the activities you enjoy doing. My wife understands this and is very supportive of my hobbies as I am supportive of hers. She does snowboard but has not for a few seasons due to an injury from skydiving. I will say, riding solo has advantages but also riding with your SO is super fun. To each their own and days will vary but riding with someone that is into you does make the day super fun.

How is all of Newschoolers this ducking ancient. Like half ya’ll are married and have kids and shit and the rest of us our like 13-17 and just shitpost

Taught my ex gf how to ski. When we were together it was fun to ski with her, but she wasn't quite the same level as me. Some days you just want to ski by yourself though.

This site was started a few years before you were born, you were still in your dads balls. Plus the fact that NS was very popular 10+ years ago and it’s the only website where you can reliably talk about park skiing.

Teaching my wife how to ski is arguably more enjoyable than my own runs lol. I feel the same enjoyment seeing her achievements as I do my own. And you have a permanent filmer too. I used to love skiing alone but my progress became super stagnant and I would end up getting bored quickly.

You filmed street all winter w your gf? That’s fucking badass as fuck.

not really the same but my gf and I Fly fish together since she doesn’t ski. She’s just as into it as I am and it’s sick to go fishing and have her not only be super stoked to fish but also get out fished by her lmao

Yeah it was pretty much us two all winter, as we would hit one spot for her and one spot for me the next day. We're gonna do it again this winter and put out a video after that.

I taught my Ex-gf to ski (we were on and off for like 4 years)so shed go when we were together then 2 winters ago we went on a pretty sick trip across the country skiing and she got way better and it was cool to wake up and just be stoked to go ski. She wasnt nearly as good so it was a bit of a hinderance but id take some solo laps at lunch or end of the day, she also cried on a blue at targhee and walked down the trail so that was super lame

tfw reading all the replies from guys who have gfs/wives who ski and are talking about how cool it is
