I actually thought about what should be in my trunk the other day while dropping the kids off at the pool. and I came up with
Back pack with some cliff bars or snacks, set of colder weather and warm weather clothes, overnight stuff, shampoo soap toothpaste and brush contact solution and possible glasses, knife, small tool set. blanket. tent. longboard, umbrella, hats, soccer cleats, ball. handle of captain's. and a bathing suit, and a stereo of some type, umbrella, shovel.
You'd pretty much be covered no matter the situation and never lookin like a wet pussy cat caught in the rain.
