Whats happening with moment skis?

so ive noticed that the moment team is diminishing, if you dont know what im referring to, Shay Lee, Sandy Boville, Jon Susman, and Logan Imlach have all dropped moment, as far as i know there are no hard feelings, but im wondering whats going on, is moment going under? If anyone has info on the subject that would be swell!

they are definitely not going under. they are a small company that came across young talents like shay and sandy and unfortunately being a small company they couldn't afford to keep them as their talents grew. it's expensive to keep up with people who ski urban, we break skis a bunch and that tab can add up.

i don't ride for them anymore but i'll always stand by their product as one of the most durable and best constructed skis on the market. even though i build my own shit I saved a pair of 190 deathwishes to rock from time to time.

plus casey hakansson is the fucking man and has a heart of gold. when i told him i was building my own shit he offered to CNC all of my molds for free.

ive seen some south lake tahoe kids on em, but they said they thrash em. one in particular said he was on his 3rd pair this season... dunno if they are spanced or not. send em a vid, shit, maybe theyll pick ya up

Switched to moments after I broke my K2s this season. Got myself a pair of the Vice. Best ski I've ever been on by far, wouldn't trade em for anything.

I love my moment night trains and stand by easily stand by their company. Great construction on amazing skis.

Casey is the man, he sent me some PB& J's after i broke my Jibs, diff in the cost was mo then a hundy from the jibs and all i paid was around 20 for shipping, glad they doing alright cause im gonna buy from them then again, would hate to see them go

k2 is a big company and can probably support them better in terms of benefits, replacing broken skis w/out going bankrupt, etc...

i think all the riders moment has right now are dope just skiers who ski with there buds and are just keeping it chill

moment makes skis of impressive quality. deathwishes and exit worlds both absolutely kill it. solid company.

i wanted the frankenskis SO bad this season, they were just a little pricy for me. which is understandable from a boutique ski brand

i've only heard good things about moments, they were one of the first people to put out a rockered park ski too (reno rocker)

My all time favourite ski/graphic combo. Would buy these again in a heartbeat.

Love Moment so much.

Bibbys from 09-10 and i ride them 20+ days of the year, all over the mountain on the east coast. All of my park skis have awful edges for skiing Whiteface so i find myself on the Bibbys a lot when skiing anything thats not park laps every run. Mounted at true-center which i initialy regreted and then began to love after the first season.

Tahoes mounted at true center for a year and they were my favorite ski that i have ever ridden in the park. super stable and light as anything.

Words cant even describe these things. Ski them in light pow or spring soft stuff. theyre a blast everywhere, especially tight all mtn trees/ mtn bike trails.

Good company props to them for spending the money on production instead of wasting it sponsoring famous skiiers and in turn making the skis more expensive. They are absolutely doing the right thing just sponsoring some lesser known guys who rip more for fun.

Same price on backcountry.com and in stock. That isn't super expensive for a park ski. They are super expensive in europe though.

Don't worry they're not going anywhere, people grow and move on in different directions that's just life,

Moment will continue to make the most badass skis they can for you and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Rocking a pair of moment belafonte's had those girls out since october, driving um over rocks and all sorts of shit. since i'm poor i just got the first tune-up yesterda and after skiing over a ton of rocks lots of them at good speed i had one tiny coreshot, hardest base's i've seen!

I don't think I ever will buy moment skis but I applaud moment for the frankenskis. Its something different and its a attempt at edge problems with rails.
