Sno's park this year is all about flow and being fun. They seem to want nothing huge in their park right now. Their first plan in the beginning of the year was to overtake the race course which is right on the side of the park and to combine the two trails into one. They wanted to have a huge jump line on the race course, with rails and other small tables in what is now the park, along with the 22' pipe. The head of the race team cried because he didn't want us to overtake his slope, so we just let him keep it. Hopefully next year we can over take it and do as was planned.
As for this years big park, its up and running right now. We got it opened during all the rain and crap, despite pushing down 1 jump and the 3 smaller rollers that were set up for rails to be put on them. I got to ride the park Friday night before they had to push that stuff down. Nothing is huge, but the park had so much flow to it. You hit one jump, go into a rail, hit 2 jumps in a row, go into another jump, hit a rail, go into another 2 sets of jumps, then go into a line of rails at the end. Despite how small the jumps are, it was really fun just to ride and do small spins over them with various grabs. Next time our park builders come in im going to talk to them about the whole " we need bigger jumps" thing, and hopefully I can spend a night with them in the cat to show them what I mean.
Our small park should be back up today. We had to demolish it because of the rain. Last night me and 2 other park crew members helped the snow makers take down a good 10-15 lights down from the top of the snowmaking building. Those lights will be set up in the big park for more light.
