another thread got me thinking...

whats easier for you guys?

front spins off rails or back spins?

what did you learn first? front swap or back swap?

whats more common? front 3 swap or back 3 swap?

Frontside because the way you scissor is very natural. Dropping your heel and lifting your toes is so much easier than the inverse

Always found front spins easier. Here’s what my progression has been. F2,B2, F4,F6,B4. Front 3 swaps are for sure more common and easier. It’s all pretty subjective but seems like most people also hit rails from the right side.

I learned back 2s before front 2s I learned frontswaps first though, I could front 270 out but still think back 2s are easier and look better for me

Learned front 2 like a year before learning it blind. I feel like it depends on the rail but the only rail these days I find a front 2 out being easier on is one that ends in a down segment.

For me, I learned back spins off of rails first, but I find front spins off of rails easier. For swaps, I learned front swaps first, but I find back swaps easier.

I learned front 2s and front 4s first, then back 2s and front switch up, then back 4. I'm better at front 4s, i rarely do a regular back 4 i think. For 3 swaps I'd say back 3 swap is easier, never done a regular 3swap, I've done unnatural slide front 3swap, so I would spin the 3swap my natural side. Front 3swaps are scary cause you come around blind side the last part of the spin.
