Whats a good underfoot for groomer skis

Qst92/98, Armada declivity 82 ti, Line Blade, Völkl Mantra, Black Crows Captis

These are all solid skis but pretty different from one to another, so maybe ask your dad what he is looking for before buying

Armada declivity 82ti if he likes a smaller radius, 88c for trucking. All dads seem to love the 92 as well.

Honorable mentions for both the kore and qst series of skis, designed to be easy to ski for a more laid back skier such as a dad. Dads also seem to love learning about the ‘technology’ in these skis aswell.

Get him on some slalom skis and he’ll be turning like a g

Do this. Twin tips and freeride skis can pretend to be good carvers all they want, nothing compares to a real race ski. It's so much fun.

I like the race ski recommendations but race skis suck when it gets a bit tracked, especially slalom skis. Groomers at PCMR are not always going to work for a real slalom ski.

I think the 85-95 all mountain ski category has some reasonably cool shit. Moment has the Commander 92 this year, K2 Mindbender, Nordica Enforcer, etc. all will be really fun on groomers and still work when you’re sharing your favorite blue with 300 of your closest friends.

If he is a strong skier I recommend Stockli Sormrider or Montero 88 or 98 - the stormrider is a bit more versatile yet still solid af on groomers

Was gunna say stormriders aswell

But you don't even need to be that strong to ski stockli. Half of the people on them are in rear entry boots
