Whats a good starter camera for filiming

i want to get a good camera to start filming a bit i already have a gopro but its not the best for taking good videos

yeah like 5 years ago.

I'm sorry but IMO buying a SD camera in our day n' age is downright stupid.

instead - buy yourself a nice HD camcorder hv30/hv40's are nice if you dont mind tapes, there are similar cameras that take SDcards though so look around. it will cost a fraction of what you would dish out for a vx, and with the money you save you can make a handle and get a wide/fisheye.
