Whats a good balaclava?

Im in need of a good balaclava to wear while working on the mountain at night. Can anyone link me or recommend a company that makes a good balaclava?

I have an Outdoor Research one..it's merino wool so you can wear it for weeks and it won't stink

Just make sure it's much wool in it. Anything else will get dirty wet and freeze.

do you know if you can wear it so it sits below your mouth, but around your chin? I swear to got every type of facial coverage gets all wet when it's over my mouth, so I'm looking for one that just hangs below it.

i second this dakine bandanas are awesome there balcavas are awesome to i have one and used skiing on a -30 degree day and my face was warm all day

Outdoor Technology has the yowies, but to be honest they arent that good. They arent very waterproof but they are kinda breathable.

The dakine one is all black this year but it's bomb....I'd say get dakine for any of this type of stuff...gloves, bandanas, balaclavas etc.....they're a super customer focused company and those are the ones our community needs to support.
