What was the best snowboard movie this year?

please i really dont want to hear hate about snowboarding.
so...i have Turbo and i dont think i want another ski movie.... i just need a change of pace.
i also have thats it thats all. totally blew my mind, but still not exactly what i was looking for. i loved lame and dc mtn lab, and of course the favorite afterlame.
what was the best snowboard movie this year. if you post a trailer with your opinion 10/10 karma.
thanks in advance. also im paraphrasing another thread but im looking for "computerelepoponica" type music too. see if you can cop that 2 year old reference haha.

i already have TITA, and im looking for an artsy fun sick snowboard movie like TBC and Afterlame.

I went to a vid premier in October and they showed "double decade," it was a sweet movie for snowboarding i thought. hope that helps
 
Double Decade, If i was to buy a snowboard video (and already had TITA) MPD would be my first choice.Familia was sick too, tons of urban and straight G music, it pretty much on par with what you'd expect from MFM.
 
I know you have it. But watch That's It That's All again, it should be sufficient to blow your mind for the next several years.
 
If you want a MDP movie, skip Double Decade and get Down With People. It's like the AM riders for Mack Dawg. They just seem like they're having more fun and are more creative. I watched both of them, and Down With People is the one that I bought.

As far as the Think Thank crew, they're good movies. Stack Footy was good, but Thanks Brain was better. But..... If you want the best of all, go to ebay or maybe ActionSportsVideo.com and find Patchwork Patterns. It's one of the first movies put out by the Think Thank crew, and my personal opinion the best. It was made before the crew had the pressure of making a super original video, and you can tell they're having a TON of fun as a group of friends filming.

If you want a cheap and fun movie, look for Airblaster's August. It's only like $5 off the Airblaster site, and it's a fun video to watch.
 
stack footy was so sick and creative. i heard down with people was one of the best movies in the last few years, but obviously tita take the cake

i'd say for the next 5 at least.
That movie deserves an Academy Award, Tony, Golden Globe, and maybe an Oscar as well.
 
ponytale was really excellent and its free. so you should get that. forum or against'em was really good and its on itunes for mo'cheap. down with people was pretty good too. from what you described i think you would really enjoy ponytale. it has a similar vibe to robot food.
 
Besides TITA which rules, I'd say Aesthetica by Standard and Ready by Absinthe are good. Double Decade was kind of meh. The Think Tank stuff is cool but I find it boring after 5 minutes, sure it's super tech but I'd rather see big jumps and pow.
 
ok i went through and hooked you guys up with karma, and i think im leaning towards absinthe. i also have pony tale dl'ing right now.
my logic was that i dont want a FULL movie of urban shenanigans, and i dont want a FULL movie of big mtn.
so ill probably go absinthe, think thank, then MDP.
feel free to keep shouting out ideas! karma for the taking haha
 
word, i just saw that this weekend, it made me hate ski movies, it has such good vibes and everyones trying to have fun rather than look cool, i think thats where ski movies should head
 
Yea, Stack Footy is good.

You'll deffinatly like pony tale.

I liked Child Support, I think its an 2008 may be, but still lots of fun, not all rail.s has a bit of everything

Try it, you might like it.

 
dude one of my all time favorite movies, for sure. i got that message haha. i bought it off of iTunes the first day it was out! im just looking for a little less face melting factor.
looking for huge backcountry jumps pow and urban gimmicks, with TBC-style music and feel good vibe.

My favorite movie i love it like joe sexton just KILLS it and idk i love it good music and everything.
 
and in addition to familia i would also recommend down with people, double decade and no correct way is pretty good too

Double decade, forum or against em, teenage love graffiti and stack footy are all super sick
