What video camera should i get

i want a nice camera nothing to expensive but something that the picture will nice. any seggestions

not enought info man, do u want hd, what type of memory do u want to record to, DOES YOUR COMP HAVE A FIREWIRE PORT, how much do u want to spend, pro v.s concumer grade...but the majority of people on here are going to say get a cannon hv30, there was a thread a little while back about refurbished ones for sale for 450
