What up France?! Study in Savoie/Grenoble?--Help me out.

No idea who stumbles around in these forums but France/anyone who can help with a couple questions about studying abroad in either Savoie/Grenoble next year would be much appreciated.
Skiing? Give me the whole run down on these Rhône-Alpes!
School? Anyone studying/studied at the Université de Savoie or Université Pierre-Mendès in Grenoble?
We'll start there, I have a bunch more questions about being there for an entire year so feel free to pm me.

Bump for more info. I may be heading over next year. Just need to know if its affordable. If anyone has done this and can give me a rough estimate of how much a year would cost that would be dank.

Eithereay, Grenoble is hands down the best place for studying (lots of good school in various domains) and skiing (pretty close to sick resort such as Les Deux Alpes..)
 
I'm going to be in Grenoble next spring semester with some Swarthmore program. I don't do any park but will definitely want partners for sidecountry and touring. Bring your avi gear and lets ride!
