What types of skiers are there?

I recently came across something referring to someone as a "swerve" skier. What different types of skiers are there and how do you know them when you see them?
 
Trail clone/ski influencer are the worst, I swear they all have shifts and qst and post pictures everytime it snows like half an inch pow day this pow day that. Then also post bs about their fucking coffee they made after they skinned up a flat groomer at 6 am for a shitty sunrise to say first tracks in the half an inch of fucking fresh snow. They also complain about shit not being sustainable then buy all new bc/touring gear and resort stuff every year. Gosh I fucking hate the direction skiing in general is going. Park skiing is in a good spot needs more people with poles but that’s not a big deal.

skiing is such a wonderfully divergent sport at this point that I reckon you'd need an encyclopedia to get through every possible skier type. Very vaguely I'd split it up into freeriders/freeskiers, tourists and racers.

Most mountains have one. Some random guy who just sends the biggest shit or is an absolute monster on sticks with little to no online presence, or resort presence.
 
Retired park rat. Cruises around, hits the trees and bumps when fresh. Reminisce of hitting the XL park as a young buck, still gets down in the progression park. Lives on east coast so POW chasing next to non existent. Watches first 4 seasons of traveling circus and Stept for season stoke. Complains about knees daily.

Similar to the local legend? The guy you always hear about but only glimpse once or twice dropping some crazy shit that nobody else knows about.

Don’t forget tele skiers and their subtypes: the tele-er who won’t stop talking about the work out they’re getting, the very rare sub thirty tele-er, and the old man tele legend who shreds way harder than you and has heels uncontainable by mere plastic or metal
 
Most skiers fit into a subtype. Every park skier gets their style from ripping off someone else. You can see it in them. You can tell who is a Henrik fanboy and who is a Zootspace zealot. And then you have the comp jocks who are basically just gymnasts on skis.
