are you talking about a point and shoot, digital SLR, film or video?
for point and shoots I can recommend a Canon Sd800 ELPH or something along those lines. Pretty good camera for teh money, lots of features, 7.1 MP and takes pretty good video as well. Its also very compact so easy to take with you in a pocket. Only complaint I ahve is it doesn't have the greatest lenses, but the amount of features it has and its durability makes up for that.
