What type of turf/carpeting should i use?

im trying to get a couple features going in my backyard and i was wondering if indoor carpet would be fine with soap and water cause i dont want to have to replace the carpet with any sort of frequency
 
i dont know if indoor carpet would work that well. i feel like it would soak up the water too much but i guess it depends on how thick it is. im sure a very thin indoor carpet would work but i would reccomend astroturf or outdoor carpet. if you already have indoor though its worth a try, easy enough to switch out.
 
Indoor/Outdoor carpet would work the best...The green stuff. Just throw some soap and water on there and voila you will be set
