What type of pvc

yep probably a bunch of threads like this but im too lazy to sift through hundreds of search results

anyway. what's the best type of pvc to use in a set up? i've heard that the big (6inch-8inch) green ones are best quality but very expensive..i really don't care. i'm fine with using the stuff they sell at home depot for 15 bucks.

question: is there an advantage to the larger pvc for learning tricks? i feel like the bigger one might be easier to learn switch ups/spins on with because there's more surface to land on. would a "box" made out of 2 smaller pvc (2 3inch side by side) give the same advantage?

+k

with the two smaller pipes side by side it acts like a thin box kinda and is a little easier to stay on and learn spins than the big pipe alone.

I recommend using 2 pvc pipes for a double barrell rail, and mount them to a 2"X4". A 2 by 4 board is very similar in width to the majority of rails you would see in parks. So i like making these because the feel of it is pretty similar

The larger diameter pvc willl work well as long as the wall thickness is considerably thick. I think these are a little harder to lock on, and learn shit on.

yea i would say make a double barrel to start, use either 1.5" or 2" pvc or abs. I found abs seems to be more durable in cold weather then pvc.
