What type of music is your favorite?

I'm more of a music = mood kind of person so I listen to just bout anything, from country music at the barn to gangsta rap on the hill.
 
same. I tend to listen to most everything. My most recent purchases though have been Lupe Fiasco's new album and an Amos Lee album
 
lupe is pretty good...

i listen to all rap/hiphop and r&b on the mt.

off mountain i listen to alternative rock, classic rock, oldies, rap, r&b, and thats realy about it...
 
same except a good 99% of the time its some kind of rock im listing to (no emo, or grunge rock, or stuf like that though)
 
I'm into rap and rock...basically anything within those two genres, and I'm open to more
 
I listen to most things...

Electronica, rap, rock, whatever. Not big on classical though, nor country.
 
hip hop and rap. i like eveything from old school to techno-ish and gothic rap. im a huge fan of east coast rap though.
 
Pretty much everything, but right now I'm digging Kanye West, Daft Punk and Justice...
But my preferences change almost every day
 
Like what that other guy posted, it depends on my mood. I tend to listen mostly too heavy guitar orintated music, because I play guitar.

ill always listen to any kind of progresive music. most days post-core rock, some days indie. but lately texas electronic bands have been my thing.
 
ive been into a lot of really alternative stuff lately. like the mars volta or the sound of animals fighting... some easy listening now and then isnt bad though

 
awesome bands. except id consider them more of experimental style bands, especially s.o.a.f.. but the mars volta fuckin rocks my socks for driving places. also circa survive gets me movin too
 
my iPod has basically every genre out there on it, except i hate like hardcore rap, and country, those are the only 2 genres i dont listen to
but Alternative, Rock, techno you know the good stuff
 
Mostly various subgenres of death metal and some jazz. I like a lot of classic rock too, and will listen to anything but country or rap.
 
Shit, I'll listen to almost anything. I love really wierd music though, some real far out shit. Lately I've been into MGMT's latest album. I've also been into this metal band called Infernal Stronghold. My friend lent me the cd and I've failed to give it back. Usually though, as far as heavy stuff, I like hardcore better, especially late-80's early 90's straight-edge (hate all you want, I just like that style) and anything with a real thugged out break-down.

But like I said I'll listen to anything- Wu-Tang (esp. ODB) and Biggie are two favorites, I love Modest Mouse, sooooo much other stuff. This post is actually a horrible representation of what I like, but whatever.
 
I listen to a lot of reggae/slower hip hop when I'm at home on my computer but any other time I blast death/black metal. Bands like Immortal, Death and Amon Amarth are the win.
