I'm looking for suggestions about what I should get for a job for the next four months. I am 18 and just finished my first year of university, i applied to a lot of restaraunts and grills so far, I held a job at a pharmacy all through high school so I don't really know what types of jobs are hell and what jobs aren't, any suggestions NS?

.

And if you have a choice, construction jobs can pay alot. As can bar tending and serving (tips).

i work at tim hortons my suggestion find anything better then fast food you make dece money here though with tips and all, my older bro is tree planting making like 15 an hour

anything you could get right now ide say.

i know a guy who just got a job at benihana as some sort of entry level line cook thing. i guess he's making bank $18 an hour working 32 hours a week. so thats pretty good.

any labouring job will pay you well. go to a construction site and just offer to cleand up around the yard, i am sure you could get like $12/hr or so doing that.

i water plants in hotels, its the easiest thing in the world good excercise and i get to talk to people. i really like it, but i have worked in jobs that i hated (starbucks), and i will never do it again.

good luck!

it's reeeally hard to get a job bartending or serving (with no previous experience) if you're just gonna be here for the summer then leave again for college - three months and then you're gone. managers dont wanna waste that time training someone just for them to leave. however; i do have interviews at a few sports bars just cuz i have some serving experience, thank god.
lifeguarding is always what saves me in the summer when no ones hiring. usually one pool or another needs someone. look into gyms too. they'll give you free membership for working there - kill two birds with one stone. i'll probably fall back on guarding if i dont score those waitressing/bartending jobs.
