What Trick Is This? (Trampoline)

Just under rotated misty 7. Misty 630 on

Also is that filmed with the new potato?

It was filmed with the front camera of an ipod. My ipod doesn't have a back camera and I didn't bring my legit camera

Let's turn this into a more official thread, post whenever you have a trick that you don't know what in the hell it is...

I have some major confusion about what I've throwing here; first one is definitely a cork 3, then I got a strange dub 7 attempt (i don't think it counts), and then a possible cork 1? (i tossed it like my cork 3 but tried to under-rotate it)

I think the dub 7 one was just a cork 7 but doing cork 3 to normal 3 instead of it being a smooth cork, you didnt "dip" the shoulder for the second cork, my bro has been trying dub 7 so i know how hard it is aha.

It's literally destroying my sanity, I can't throw a cork 3 hard enough to dub it, when i do I just reverse scorp a cork 7 to my back and it hurts a lot. luckily with the way i throw it the worst that can happen is some scraped knees so I will keep trying it. someday, someday.

Ya the way you throw it there is really no way to get hurt *knock on wood*

Gotta have dreams

that's what I told myself with dub 10 because i throw it pretty flat. one of my attempts i hit my head against the springs pretty hard, really lucky i missed the frame. I shouldn't try huge tricks on a tramp that is as sketchy as mine, i got friends with some nicer ones.

Pretty sure the last one was just a straight 180

Doesn't your feet have to come above your head for it to be a cork?

That's the textbook definition, but it can get complicated. Certain grabs and types of corks can pull the cork under horizontal. I go by the 60 degree rule, a lot of switch cork/rodeo 7s are just above 60 degrees. Also the body rotation plays in. The 180 was not a 180 where I just looked down- it comes off axis enough for me to faceplant hard if i don't do it right, wether it is corked or wobbled, that's up to anyone to say. The way I see it, "cork" is in the eye of the beholder...

Ah, thanks for clearing that up!

Alright, from the moment I threw this I knew it was a mindf*ck. I think it's a true flatspin, others are calling it a cork 3. I'm really confused because I set it as a flat then it sorta goes into the second half of cork 3. I'm just calling it "flork" 3 for now.

can't embed those videos anymore with the new update

but if that was filmed from in front of him i think it would be exactly that

F*ck the police and system, man.

Reviving this thread because I have a new one and I don't want to start a new thread if I don't have to.

Is this a cork? Is it too inverted or set weird or something? I have like 10 cork attempts on my phone right now and a few of them are clearly corks but the rest came out like this one.

Apologies for bad quality. I didn't bring my camera with so my phone was the next best thing and I didn't plan on uploading anything

looks like a misty, kind of off axis tho.

heres one. would you call it a D spin 7 if i added 360 to it? or do they even exist?

it looks like a spiny flat 3 i guess haha. thats the only way to describe it. looks sick though

I think I finally got dub sevens down! tell me what you think, I know the second "cork" is kind of questionable.

I posted it on NS, toss it an upvote if you like it

To me it looks kid of like those weird gymnastics spins where you dont have that much misty axis more frontflip, either way pretty sick

adam delorme does his misty 7s like that too, its kinda weird to watch but its in partly cloudy if you wanna check it out, couldn't find the clip myself

Switch cork 3. Cork 3/Flat 3 hybrid, more like a lincoln in some ways. There are a lot more rotations that you can do on trampoline than the basic ones. The one from the OP is a mork (a bad misty or cork attempt), the dude trying cork 3s is doing upright 3s.

That was a cork but you tried to cork before you spun. Gotta wait longer.

I kinda like set it back put spun it forward too. I watched a tutorial by like dylan gebbia though and he said to throw the cork right away

That's a terrible idea. You set right away but you don't throw it. Wait until you can see the trampoline at 90ish then throw.
