What to wear?

Im at a friends house and we were invited to a dinner at a pretty nice restaurant. I have next to nothing of dress attire so its down to these two outfits.

The people there will be us (two sixteen year old dudes), his parents, his parents friends, and the parents friends 17 and 19 year old daughters.

What should I wear newschoolers?

Second, the pair of pants on the first picture is too baggy. Everyone looks better with a more slim "suit" than a baggy. good luck man
 
ditch the blazer and tie, a fitted shirt with a nice pair of trousers is smart enough for any restaurant in my books. unless your paying hundreds of dollars per person/its a business meal a suit is not necessary.

Yup. Khakis and a nice button down is all you should need. Unless your friends parents say that you have to wear a suit then I guess #1.
 
The second one. The pants flow better and make you look dressed up, but also a little bit relaxed. Stay sharp kid.

dude you are young, ditch the blazer and the tie and just wear a shirt, unless it's like THE best restaurant in town.
 
1. Burn this jacket.

2. Drive to the nearest Suit-Supply.

3. Get a RTW jacket that fits, have their in-house tailor do some express modifications if necessary.

4. Go to dinner

5. ?????

6. Threesome with 19-year old daughters.
 
any one your age with a blazer looks over dressed unless it perfectly tailored fit. go with a dark button up and the brown pants don't forget the belt no tie

does not take much in rural maine, we have like three nice places to eat.
 
Khakis dark shirt. Tuck it in so it fits tight around the middle, unbutton top 2 buttons.

Also apply goat seamen to hair and slick back.
 
Wear whatever you want, just keep your lower jaw slack the whole time. Like in the second picture.

No one will judge a downs kid for dressing himself

text your friend and make sure he is also dressing up an equivalent amount. you dont want to show up and be way over dressed

as this was the other night, I will give you guys a run down on how it went.

I wore the second,

was not over dressed.

The girls were sub-par,

the food was amazing.
 
i usually find its best to be prepared for the worst situation so i almost always wear my NBC(nuclear,biological,chemical) suit when going out to dinner. if theres a nuclear or chemical attack you will thank me.
