What to use on a rainbow?

So I have this sick rainbow-shaped piece of birch wood that would be perfect for a rail. I plan on cutting a flat top on it so it will be like a 3-4 inch wide rainbow box. I want to put 2 small metal pipes on either side to make it slide better. Does anyone know a hard pipe (i.e. not aluminum because my edges would catch) that is around 1/2 - 1 inch in diameter? And once I get the pipe, any ideas on how to bend it to form the shape of the rail? It's not a steep rainbow, about 12 feet long and only goes up about 2-3 feet at the peak.

home depot sells steel pipes in all different diameters... but good luck bending em if you get like a small diameter it might bend easier

they also sell like angle bars that and 1 inch wide pieces of metal that would prob bend easier

post pics when its done

Thanks, I think I'll just bend it slowly, over a few days, and I'll post pics when its finished though it probably wont be until mid august.

What contest? I feel like I'm missing something very obvious. And also, I'm welding a flat down rail and building a 4 foot tall 10 foot wide wallride to go with my flat box and barrel jib from last year. And I'm hopefully getting an old fire hydrant to light on fire, then jib. I'm really stoked on my backyard setup this year.

Yeah, unfortunately, I think I'm putting it on hold until next summer because at the moment I'm working on a flat-down rail and a wallride...so I think the rainbow might be a little ambitious. If I do it this year though, I'll definitely let you know how it comes out.
