I'm looking to get a new pair of skis for next year and I'm wondering what to get. I do mostly park. I want a wider ski that isn't super expensive. Or just a 85ish underfoot that is really good. Thinking about like K2 extremes, or suspects.
Line Anthems would be a good pick...I wouldn't recommend Suspects because from what I've heard Salomon has not changed the construction, and this year's Suspects were abysmal (searchbar)...Anthems would be my pick, Walls would be sick too
I compared my suspects 181 sth14 with my friends anthem 178 griffon and the difference was huge.
I measured my skis 177-178cm and his skis was right on spot. When I weight the skis the difference was huge. My ski weight 300g; 0,66lbs more than his anthems and thats only PER ski.
Also the suspects are really poppy and great on big jumps because of its stiffness; it's a superstiff ski and it has really big issues with its durability. I wouldn't recommend them for doing small jibs or railing.
I recommend Völkl Walls because they are stiff but not too stiff and really light swingweight compared to my suspects. Stiffness of The wall is little more than AR6 but still soft imo.
the Walls are the stiffest park ski on the market. they are anything but soft. Stiffer than chronics and addict pros, which in my opinion are not super stiff like everyone says. But the only twin tip taht is stiffer than the wall is the bridge.
