What to do with a spare engine?

So some idiot fucked up big time and TNT delivered an engine to my home. So now I have en engine sitting out the front of my house. I've called TNT saying that they had the wrong address and when the bloke came to pick it up he saw that it was too big and left.

Should I wait til the bloke who bought it realises that his engine never got delivered?

Can I get in trouble if I sell it?

I called the number on the manifest and the dude doesn't even speak english.

I don't think you should try selling it unless the guy who ordered it tells you he doesn't want it anymore then I guess in that case it's yours.

Problem is I called the bloke and said hey I have your engine and he was spouting a bunch of random foreign words I couldn't understand. It's really hard to communicate with him because he doesn't speak english

yeah you know that sounds frustrating, you're like 'yo Im just trying to help get you your engine or w/e'. Do you have any idea if it's a cell or landline? just text a picture of it to him

Yeah, I'd just hold on to it for a few weeks and if nothing happens then just sell it or alert the authorities or whatever...

Dibs if there's a swap kit for a Miata lol

honeslty though rip off that garbage bag and look at the top of the engine. if an engines being shipped around on a crate it's probably worth something.
