What to do, what to do?

Alllright, so last summer I got grounded for drugs and alcohol and things of that nature. I had just graduated from high school and anyway, long story short, I did not end up going to college this year and instead I am taking a year off and then going to college next year.

SO I just got back from volunteering in a gap-year type program in Costa Rica where I worked doing sea turtle conservation. Anyways, now I'm back home and I have a job tuning skis 40-50 hours a week so that i can raise a buttload of money to go away again. I had planned to go to Australia to travel or maybe take a college course or perhaps intern. So in college I want to study business so I would be interested in a business type internship. Flights to Australia run at about $2400 and I can't really afford that. So I was wondering where I should go and what I should do and if anyone here has any sort of suggestion that might help me out a little. I would prefer to be in a city, but not New York or Boston. Oh yeah and I live in Vermont.

Oh yeah, and I should probably mention that I want to do something that is somewhat academic such as take a course or two (although that is probably too late for spring semester) or else get an internship in a business office or in the stock market (or something of that sort of nature)
