What to do in whistler???

The wifey and I are headed to whistler for a weekend in feb. What kind of things are worth checking out at night, where are the best spots to ski on the mountain and whats the best way to get there from van int.

As far as getting there from the airport you have three options.

rent a car (obviously)

take the bus from the airport to whistler (a bit more money than the greyhound, but way more convenient)

or take the greyhound. this means taking the skytrain from the airport to downtown, transfer skytrain lines to the line that takes you to the main st. station (bus station), and take the greyhound up to Whistler.

we were planning on taking the whistler shuttle, just looking for something that might be cheaper. Thanks for the reply

How about best restaurants, drinking holes?

for bars and restaurants it really depends what ur into. Personally my fav spot for a drink in the cinnamon bear which is in the Hilton hotel. The Dubhlinn Gate is good too but a bit expensive

Zogs is good food if you're looking for something quick. If you're down with Sushi, SushiVillage is the place to be. Little pricy but damn good.

Longhorn Saloon is my favourite bar by far but on nights Garfinkles is good as well.

Best way to get from YVR to Whistler is the pacific coast shuttle. If you drive a car you most likely have to pay for parking at your hotel.

Its pretty hard to find terrain that you won't like on both blackolmb and whistler.
