What the fuck to do with glasses and googles

Pretty sure they make prescription lenses that fit in some goggles, if not some contacts could always do the trick.

I've worn glasses my whole life, and hate wearing contacts. So when I go skiing I just take them off and work with what I got. (which is a severe astigmatism and being near sighted, but you get used to it.)

Sounds safe

I wear glasses too but i just take them off. It all depends on your eyes though. If you can ski without them don't wear them.

Meh, you just get used to it. I can see just fine, but its the fine details that I lose. I can still tell that someone is say for instance, wearing oakley googles. I have no problem seeing that they are oakleys but whatever print the frame has on it just looks like a smear of colors unless I'm really up close and personal.

I have a stigmatism as well so I understand what you mean by focusing on small things at a distance. I tried asses under my goggles one day and my nose hurt so bad, that it wasnt worth the gain. Now I don't wear any. I have no help/advice here....just saying I have the same problem and being social haha!

Giro has a goggle thats otg that has indents in the foam to reduce pressure points from squeezing your glasses into your temple. Smith has the io/x turbo along with the index thats also otg. Oakleys canopy is another otg design. just got off work and pulled out half our goggle counter for a lady who refused to ride with contacts. no matter what tho you're gonna need to sacrifice comfort in some way

Sticking an ass under anyone's goggles would Hurt

there is no better feeling than tucking at a 100 foot kicker and having a contact flutter as you take off, or losing one at the top of the french alps... (heavy sarcasm)

lasik will pay for itself over time

for those saying to put the strap over the helmet, that doesn't do much. the real problem is the frame/ foam pushing them into your face and wrecking the frame. at least thats what i experience.

to solve: bigger goggle frame

My glasses have a really thin and wide frame and to be honest are fragile as fuck. So I decided over the summer to get a 2 month supply of daily wear contacts that I only use when I ski. You could also buy so OTG goggles but that really limits your options.

I just take them off. Glasses under the googles can lead to eye injury if you fall on your face. I can make out the contour of the snow, but I can see detail very well.

*first post yeyyy :)*

Last year i had the same problem like you. Sk u went to a near shop and they helped me to find a google that fits perfectly over my glasses.

I bought an oakley canopy now and im pretty happy with it. I think its also made for ppl whi want to wear their glasses under a goggle.

Buuut you have to wear the goggle strap over your helmet or hat!!

Just search for GOG goggles (goggles over glasses) or ask in a near shop for an advice

Zeal Voyagers also fit otg. Or if you go to like sports authority or one of those generic stores they have super cheap otg goggs, like 30-40 bucks

I am in the same boat as you. I have a severe astigmatism, I have tried contacts and they are just not an option with my vision, prescription goggles are way too expensive (and in my case, impossible to compress to a reasonable thickness). Unfortunately you will just have to suck it up and get used to it. Try to find a wide frame goggle like any of the previously mentioned. I have Anon M2 and they are fairly comfortable. It just takes some getting used to.
