i hope these guys dont support what cali P and the other dancehall guy said in one of the things in the bonus section of WSKI. Its called Cali P in studio or something. But these two guys start talking about burning lesbians and gays. I hope the producers dont agree with that message. ive almost lost my respect for good dancehall music

umm in the early 90's it was about sex and drugs i think. and then some of them turned rasta and started brining it back to roots reggea. but then those people who were really rasta started hating all white people and gay people. so i guess i just answered my own question. thank you newschooler45

Actually, when you hear the term 'burn' in dancehall it means 'kill.' Most of the dancehall music of the 90s was very hateful and violent, not portraying the same positive messages a lot of roots artists portray. Dancehall is hard to understand at first, but if you listen to the lyrics they can be very brash and hateful.

its actually more than just a dislike. Sizzla has openly said that he wants to KILL gay people. he used to be my favorite artist of all time. but i guess no more. its more than just a prejudice. i hope most rastafarians dont believe this

all i know is that true Rasta believers are very negative towards gay people, but most people on this site dont know anything about what the Rastafarian mindset is really about along with alot of other things
