Hit up the UOP here and learn new shit on the water ramps.

But seriously, I'd much rather go to windells. Some of my friends went there and said its a damn good time.

MHSSC:

Lappin public park or hiking private

Sickest coaches ever so damn chill

Sick tramp which is super bouncy dub fest's goin on and people learnin the basics

Cheappp can do 2 sessions here for the price of 1 anywhere else.

Ski coaches also coach on tramps

Not too many campers.

Awesome vibe

camp of champs is the best park hands down. i wish i could've skied it but i went to momentum for 2 years so i can give you the lowdown on that. if you're mostly a rail skier, dont go to momentum. the park setup isn't the best. they just dont use their space well, they put all the rails on the steepest part of their lane and the bigger jumps on the flattest part. that being said the hotel was really nice, the lift lines were relatively small in comparison to COC (5min for momentum, 40 for COC) and food is pretty decent too.

i definitely recommend going to camp in whistler over hood though. once you're off the hill anything you can do in whistler is fair game.

what is this?

but seriously, all I have knowledge about are COC and Momentum, and between the two I would say COC for you

if you are going to camp mainly to ski and really progress and learn, take number of pros/pro coaching out of your consideration. it has had mixed reviews and is really no better than any other coaching unless you are riding at a level near to being sponsored yourself.

a place that doesnt get a whole lot of attention but that is nearly as good (and considerably less expensive) than these is Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camps. i worked there some this summer and was a camper before that. it is such a laid back place. it doesnt have the hype of windells or the other camps but the coaches are good at coaching, the food is good and the vibe is super chill. no worries about stuff getting stolen. there may not be the huge foam pits and stuff of windells, but the single trampoline is amazing. it is a somewhat more intimate setting. fewer kids than the other camps. you will probably get to know pretty much all the freeski crew. and we have racing which means racer girls.

for the same price of 5 days or so on snow at windells, you can get 10-11 days on snow at MHSSC. i have a link to their site in my sig.

this thread will also give a lot of info about the camps at mt hood: https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/532284/

bottomline: you will have the most fun in your life no matter where you go

thanks guys any info on woodward at copper too but other than that i may lean toward a canadian but ill look into it too and also price matter so mention that thx

MHSSC, Mt hood summer ski camps.Chillest coaches, best tramp setup, greatest learning experience, cheapest there is.

I recommend.....

Backyard Camp

High quality formerly usable carpet to slide on.

Mom can still cook you food!

strong 2x4 frame

slippery pvc rail that will always keep you sliding

Really cheap

Badass

have friends over and sesh

no need to leave home!

but seriously, dude you are 13 and your parents are paying for a ski summer camp thats like $1800.

thanks checked it out i had never heard of it it looks super chill and sick price. i am more of a get work done and go big skier so i may not want to go there but it still is up there with those 4 i listed

pat knows his shit. its also worth mentioning that windells is move of the "im better than you" attitude, whereas at mhssc, everyone is there for the sole reason of getting better.

this place is a get work done place man. jumps are good, rails are good. same quality just slightly less quantity. and the coaches are really good at coaching not just skiing. you want to learn something? they will teach you. from the tramp to snow.

Its funny cause im talking to him right now, aswell as other kids i met at camp. If your pumped but nervous about going to camp like i was go to mhssc. first day i was there met some friends and new i was going to have fun...

This.

Words can't even begin to describe my experience in Chile with Evolve last summer. We slayed pow the entire time I was there, stayed in the most amazing lodge with the most incredible view and ate some of the best food I've ever had.

I'll let a couple photos do the talking.

And perhaps a video for good measure?

thanks for all the info but still have not heard about woodwar and not anything much about windellsalso evolve chile is sick but at almost 3000 its too much money probably but would be my dream

no sorry i need to decide before summer "ya dig" homie dog g dog wtf is your problem troll

My friends went to windells and i went to MHSSC caus i couldnt afford windells. I learned easily twice as much as them. the coaching is amazing at MHSSC and the coaches are the best out there.

I'l be honest, I went to momentum last summer , and even though I realized how incredibly lucky and spoiled i was to be going there, the park wasn't the best ( IMO) .. I believe there were two jumps at the time, and the landings to the rails i felt were all super steep (but hey, its summer skiing) the coaches do ski with you, but you kind of have to ask the coaches tips if you are willing to learn something (doesnt speak for all the coaches) But the all around vibe in Whistler is great, especially in the summer. The hotel's were super nice, there is a tramp, its just a tad sketchy since its elevated . But you do have people around watching. And the food is also very good. I've heard only good things about mount hood summer ski camps, and i hear it is also much cheaper . Hope that helps.

If you could some how gets the funds, Evolve Chile for sure bud.
As a past camper for the past 2 years, I have to say it truly is something else. It just gets better and better. They're getting better coaches, sponsors and the whole works.
The first year i went i mowed lawns and worked in a warehouse to make sure i could go and it was completely worth it.
I really hope you considered Evolve Chile, it's definitely a special place.

And as always, pm if you need some more info, and picture stoke!

I went to Momentum a few years ago, it was fun but I would probably go to Windells if I could do it again. Momentum has a great lane but the set it up in a pretty crappy way. COC has an amazing park but the lift line is WAY to long for me.

I promise, anything you wanna get done, I'll help you get it done as well as any other coach at any other camp for half the price.

momentum is pretty fun. some coaches are awesome, some are meh...but if you ask them to help you with something specifically they will. but some in my mind coaches will put forth the extra effort to help you out, eg: frank raymond, aj kemp and a few others.

park is eh..okay. its on a severe downslope, i think they could have done better with what they had. Food and living is awesome, no complaints.

Atmosphere is fine, easy to find people to talk to and ski with. But pretty much on hill and off the hill, you can do whatever you want. Diggers and staff are all really nice. If you dont want to ski with your coach and group for the day, you dont have to, instead you can just lap the park.

Theres activities to like paintballing, biking etc. I never did any of those, just did water ramping once which was fun since its something i never got to do.

But seriously, theres nothing like a long day of skiing, getting back to your hotel room, changing to your swim gear and hitting the hot tub and pool. So relaxing. Whistler village is pretty live as well, all day

CoCs park looked unreal, way way way better then momentum park. Never got to hit it though. We had to take their line everytime to leave the glacier or to go get lunch. It varied from being super busy to being okay.

This is all experience from this past summer coming from a 17 (now 18) year old college student so your experience might be a little different if you are younger. Did i get my moneys worth? Yes

Would i go again? not at my age no. The only way i would return to whistler in the summer is to either work or pay to ride CoC park with a few friends. Good luck on choosing.

MHSSCsick vibesthe park isn't as packed as windells because its part racer campfreedom to wander around Govy (Government Camp)dope coaches and counselors Cliff JumpingChevron Gas station funnest jumps on the glacierway cheaper than windells

Windells was the funnest time I ever had! But I was also in the adult camp. (You can leave and do whatever you want on and off the mountain) Sick coaches, tons of stuff to do around the camp and just an unreal time!

if you have the option to go to any of those, DEFINITELY go to somewhere in Whis. don't bother even thinking about going to woodward at copper if you have the bank to go to a camp that's way more legit
