Possibilities could be:
Salt Peanuts: Dizzy Gillepsie (among others, this track stands out)
Alot of Count Basie (Live tracks) there's way too many possibilities with his style.
Duke Ellington, I'd have to say the same about Duke that I said about the Count, so many possibilities.
Dave Bruebek, very cool sound, sonic explosiveness.
Miles Davis, If you're feeling adventurous...
I think it'd be cool if someone would pick up on it, it'd be different but do-able.
