What software do you use for video editing?

So basically I need a new editing software. I've been using FCPX and I love it, but the only thing is that the only Apple computer I have is a 2007 15in macbook, not powerful enough to make editing on it worthwhile. However my PC is custom built and can handle top notch video editors/whatever the hell I throw at it. I was wondering what everyone else uses out there for editing their clips.

I've come to the conclusion that Vegas Pro/Adobe Premier are most likely going to be the top two mentioned on here for windows, but I'm curious what everyone says.
 
Premiere CS6. Some people like Vegas, but personally I prefer Premiere. Most other people will recommend Premiere over Vegas as well.
