What skis?

first my sincere apologies for another "What skis?" thread but meh it is gear talk so whatever...

Im 6'2'', roughly75kgs (165lbs?) advanced skier, and will be spending the entire winter in whistler. its my second season in whis and i was in japan b4 that, im looking for a pow ski thats going to be sick for pow, charging, dropping cliffs (not that good at cliffs, want to progress up to 40fters this season) and more playful than what im currently on. Ihave been on volkl gotamas 178 for the last 2 northern winters and just find that they are a bit too skinny at 106 underfoot, a tiny bit too stiff ( though i do like stiff skis, ehps look sick) i have skied on a few rockers skis with caber underfoot like the obsethed and both bents and wasnt a huge fan of the camber underfoot but not totally out of the question. price range under $800, i like the looks of the jjs and volkl shiros, also not very keen to buy online, somehting in a whis shop preferably

and if it means anything my other skis will be liberty morphics and a pair of racing skis

holy shit i just wrote an essay :p

+k for good responces

shiro and jj a good choice. 4FRNT renegade might be a good option too, more of a charger than both of the other skis.

i'm a bigger guy so the 185 JJ wasnt quite enough for me (tried the AK - liked it a lot).

the shiro rips too. historically i haven't really liked volkls (think they're too stiff) but i could definitly own this ski.

my personal choice would be the renegade though.

cue everyone else's response saying on3p

yea i skied the renegade for one run last season and it was pretty sick, if i was to go for the jjs or shiros im not sure if i would go tfor the 180+ lengths or the 190+ lengths

also would like to say the EHP is a dope ski. super charger, but it sounds like you may want more than the early rise in that...

Have ya looked at the line opus?....I'd say that, atomic bent chets, armada JJ, or on3p caylors. The opus is stiffer than previous ep pro models and is very impressive in variable conditions. I'd actually say it may be a better choice considering the NW wet snow as opposed to the JJ. But that's jus my two cents and may not translate to your style.

Im no pro at pow skis but the Bentchetler seems pretty spot on. Big ski that you can definitely throw around but still stable on big gnarlier stuff

Yeah I skied the chets last year out in the canyons for a few days and they were really really fun. So easy goin switch off of stuff. Honestly if I didn't feel like I kinda owed it to line, I may have gotten the chets this year instead of the opus. Lines been super good to me though and I have no regrets with the opus. Best ski I've ever been on. But I do wonder if I woulda liked the chets more had I dedicated to them.

Yeah I hear these rock it for pow but aren't too much fun outside of the deep stuff. Would be a cool "pow only" addition to a quiver though.

Hey, I am the same size as you. I want a pair of park skis. What should I get? I had chronics but they were 173's and i think thats a little small. Any other ideas? I loved them, but they are really on the small end of things.

i dont focus much on park but my all mountain twin is a liberty mpohic, 94 underfoot, traditional camber 181 annd i love it
