i am having difficult finding an inexpensive yet very durable skis i was looking at armada el rays and the clearance sale for high society FR skis and dont know what else to look at. any help or opinions are very welcomed! help me

it depends on the kinds of skiing you plan to use them for

whether your 50%mountain 50%park / all park/ all mountain freeride

or somewhere inbetween it all

For the price Line has the invaders for the park/pipe.. Best bang for the buck! Then you go up in there lineup to the anthems which give you a little more thickness for the jumps, then the chronics or blend. Really depends what type of skiing your gonna do. If your going to be using the skis for 50% all mountain and then 50% park/pipe, then i would suggest the chronics..

at first i was all for the invader and anthems but recently ive been hearing some indecent comments about them

1. ive heard there maide with like dust wood or something making them less durable?

2. ive heard they end up getting too flexy after a season of use

3. ive heard they are too soft on jumps

this is all just stuff ive read from people around NS otherwise they seem to be sick skis

i have a pair of the 08 invaders and my friend has a pair of anthems same construction but anthem is wider makeing it better for all mountain... both are sweet skis except if u get them your sidewalls will chip alot (only negative) plus they dont cost that mutch

Yea, they deff are a sweet pair of skis. I love em, ive been using them for basically every weekend since i got them and love em so far. I have not had one issue with them besides the width. I wish i went with the anthems to get that extra width. I would highly consider a pair of line skis. My brother has a pair of salomon flyers, and his have been used a little less than mine and they are all torn up, and we do basically the same stuff.
