I am a 15 year old skier from the PNW. Winter up here has been pretty good, especially compared to last season. Anyways's i am looking for new skis and don't know which to get. I am a pretty good skier, looking for a one quiver ski. I want a ski I'll be able to use on the deep days, with enough stability to drop cliffs. But I also want one that I could use in the park on rails/boxes, and large jumps. I'm about 5'8, 140lbs.I've basically found 5 options that I am considering, but i need some help deciding.

My Options are:

Moment PB&J

Line Blend

Line Sir Francis Bacon Shorty

K2 Shreditor 102

Armada Al Dente

If people could vote and/or give some advice, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

i ride my kartel 98s off cliffs and they slay all mountain in bad conditions or good ones. i've even ridden them in over a foot of fresh pow and they handled it amazingly well for a 98 ski. maybe check out the 106 for a one ski quiver.

Moment PB&J will do everything you want it to. Finding a one ski quiver that also ventures into the park can be kind of tricky when you're expecting to ski powder (PNW) but the PB&J at 101 underfoot will keep you afloat in most, if not all, conditions. Tons of kids ride it as their main park ski, while others use it strictly for all mountain.

The Blend is basically a softer PB&J, so it might not hold as well on the steeps.

The Al Dente is (from what I understand) even softer than the Blend and PB&J.

Jeffery 114 size 181 - might be the perfect ski for you from the looks of it

SFB - ehhh. I would rather get the mordecai in size 179

I saw that you had SFB shorties as an option. Your kind of light but your too tall for that. Im 5 11 170 lbs and ski 191 on3p caylors (120 underfoot) every day which are perfect. You get use to the size and their are much more stable. If I were you i would not consider anything under 178 cm. And since your in the PNW your gonna be really fucking glad when you have those extra couple mms of width and cms of length on a pow day, that wont hurt you too much when its hard pack.

Scott Punisher 95. It has good rocker in the tip and tail, skis the mountain like a boss, and is stable on big jumps. Most fun I've had on a pair of skis.

Definitely wouldn't go for any Shorties, those skis are made for kids. You seem like an advanced skier, so it will be annoying if you're trying to ski aggressive, and you should be big enough to use anything in the 170-180 range, especially if you're ripping that PNW pow.

Going to second the Jeffrey 114s. I've heard great things about them, and they seem like just what you're looking for. Here's the ON3P page for em:

PB&J would also be a solid choice, but at only 101 underfoot they probabaly wouldn't be ideal for the super deep days.

Hope this helps. Forever envious of you PNW guys, being from the east coast, haha. Happy shredding man!
