No idea what "going to a 156" means. Anyways, if it's height, consider Armada, Line, Faction and K2. They all have kid versions of their stuff i think. I know they're all mainstream companies but they really know their stuff, and they all have skis that can work in park, powder and on the slopes. Personally I've had very good experiences with K2 Bad Seed when i was younger, and Line Sick Day 95 (2014) and Armada JJ (2015). Line hold up very well on the slopes and on powder, Bad Seed are good on slopes and park but lack a little in powder, and Armada JJ are part of the deepest powder series so they really only work in powder.

By 156 do you mean 156cm?

If you're 5'6, you really shouldn't be skiing a 156 cm ski. Especially if it's a twin tip.

If you are 5 feet 6 inches tall you are like 165cm tall or so, not 148cm. That's like 5ft or so. I ride skis that are the same height as me or so, I'm 5'7 and ride a 168 and 170
