sorry to be an irritating pillock i know theres far to many of these threads made already.but....

basicaly i ride dry slope most of the year, (to those of you who dnt know thats is, i ski a carpet run consisting of 2 kickers, one of them is fairly big and a medium rail. I also ski snowdomes etc.)

basicaly 90% of the year i ski park.

how ever as soon as i get on the snow, for about 2 weeks a year i love the powder and ski as much as i can but still love droppin cliffs, a bit of bc freestyle if i can and still love blasting groomers, i ski all mountain hard basicaly wen im on holiday

so with that in mind that my priority is on park but i dont want something to suck to badly on the snow when im on for my 2 wks a year.

ok im thinking of going centre mounted, so what would you say about 178 anthems for me? any other ski input well appreciated

im about 6ft 2 and 160 pounds.

thanks for any help!

How is the dry slope on the bades of the skis? I have never seen the stuff in person.

you need dry slope wax which is uber hard wearing and it wares your bases away a bit,but not too badly.still several times more fast wearing than snow id imagine

id say get ar5 or ar6 cause they have thicker edges wich would be good for the rail...but pretty much it sounds like it only really depends how soft u want ur skis...maybe Fungative there cheap and work...

Honestly, Id go with two pairs of skis; because the two types of skiing you will be doing are so separate and completely different. So, a cheap park ski, and a midfat of some kind.

If thats too expensive, buy a park ski and maybe rent for the other 2 weeks.

I don't see why not to get anthems since I'm assuming on dryslope you do just park and they wont be very good on the mountains but they should at least be fun.

I can't believe what I'm seeing.

A dryslopper and people are telling him to get two skis, 93mm underfoot.

Damn.

Get some new 06-07 T-Halls, and if you wanna conserve the dough get some Invaders.

get salomon foils. they're sick in the park and they're wide and stiff enough to kill it all mountain. i'm pretty convinced it's the best all around ski out there.
