I am looking for a pair of skis that are pretty buttery so that i can do some tip rolls and other junk, but yet stable enough for the entire mountain?

whats your weight height skier type. what are you going to be skiing on "the rest of the mountain". next time post in gear talk. but otherwise i'd get the ar6, maybe the arv- i hear the arv gets really buttery after broken in. personally i ride the pipe cleaners, thier light, really poppy, and do all right around the hill. you probaly should also consider mabye the volkl walls or mabye the fisher addicts ( if you want areally buttery ski)

ok thanks i just saw this years ar6 at a season markdown at our local ski shop for 250 and i considering buying em. but i had just got new ones at the end of last season

i am fucking tired of kids hyping up the afterbang. dont reccomend it as a fucking ski until you actually know what the fuck you are talking about

both of those skis are very stiff for park skis. aint much buttery about em, sucka.

as ive said before, with all the hype that afterbangs are getting, they do not ski any different from any other soft symmetrical park ski...i was a bit disappointed.

people need to chill on amping that ski up and realize that theyre really nothing special, regardless of the new construction.

What skis are good to get. i am bladeing right now and i am switching to line skis what kind of line skis should i get?

just because line made (still makes?) ski blades doesnt mean that theyre the only brand worth looking into for skiing.

if anything, just the opposite...making skiblades is downright embarassing. i sure do hope theyve stopped.

Just look at some AR6's or something - they are stiff enough for the rest of the mountain.

Buttering generally comes down to skills, not just the softness of the ski.

Buying the softest ski possible doesn't mean you will be able to grease nose presses and butter

so you skied it and liked it?
just because it seems innovative doesn't mean it's going to be sick, wait until a lot of people including you have skied it and then hype it up but don't go telling this kid to buy a ski that very few people have skied or know much about

I got to ski the afterbang a couple weeks ago. super rad ski. believe the hype! it skis better than the invader/anthem and should retail for under $400.

if you want a park ski that can still float decently in pow, this is your ski

gets chattery at high speeds, but just because it's a noodle

they aren't supposed to ride much differently than anything else, the idea is that they are going to be more durable. so in that respect, i think they're going to be pretty sick.

So do people like the anthem in the pow pow then? I was considering getting them but I heard they are just hell a flappy. Would you say lizzies or anthems then?
