my skis (TMs 165) are fine for my lil' home mountain here in pa, but when i go to visit my brother out at Vail (like a month out of the year)im sinking on powder days i was thinking about getting shorter wider skis, any ideas? im 5 6" and 110

u should look into line clebritys, my girl demoed them and loved them. plus u could probably find last year's model for cheap

word a fujative is not even close to a pow ski. i would look at the line elizabeth or the ARV. both are great for pow and they are both actually great on groomers as well. you can't lose with those.

i have seen a lot about line delamming and stuff though. the ARV is bombproof

I have last years Celebrity's in a 172 and I love them. I am 5'5" and weigh 120. You have to keep in mind that it is a twin tip so it actually skis like a 162 and you need the length for float.

Arv's are also awesome but buy them in a 176. Again they are twin tipped and you have the height plus they are light. They will make you ski better. Do not go 165 you will be sorry imho.

Going shorter kind of defeats the purpose of having a powder ski, in my opinion. Plus extra length helps bust through choppy snow once it gets tracked. See if you can demo some 168 Gotamas or B4's, both of those are really fun skis.
