Ive currently got k2 public enemys from like 2006 I think, , ive love the k2s because they take no shit and u can ski them everywhere. Im looking for a sort of modern day version i suppose, just a bit dated now.

Im also well out of the game, havent put my skis on for over 2 years, looking forward to getting back out there, going sauze d'oulx in feb and thinking of doing a season next year.

if you're looking for a reliable and dependable all mountain ski id go with this years Kung Fujas. if your looking for a powder ski, go hellbent all the way

Aaaah, Sauze d'Oulx really is an undiscovered gem, you'll love it there.

And yeah, whatever K2 you go for, they have amazing build quality. This year's Kung Fujas are really nice, a good one-ski quiver. Or get the last edition of the Public Enemy, if there's any left. Even from an early stage, K2 had the wood core on lock. It'll probably be easier for you to ski on dimensions of ski you are familiar with.

ok kool guys, thanks. k2s still got it then lol.

before the k2's I had ten eightys, really didnt like them but was worried about the k2s because of there weight, and im not a big guy by anymeans, but completely loved them, off to the k2 site!

The Public Enemies are called Extremes now if you just want the newer version of that ski. Personally I don't like them at all but if that is what you are into. Worth checking into Volkl Walls or Rossi S4's as well for stiffer more all mountain oriented skis.

Have you considered the K2 obSETHed? I haven't ridden this year's model, but I've absolutely loved the 07, 08, & 09s. I own the same PE's as you and haven't even wanted to touch them after clicking into the seths. Great for a one ski quiver....

the extremes are the same dimensions as your old public enemies but lighter in the tip and tail for better swing weight. if you like your PE's, these are your first choice.

another suggestion, since most everyone out there is starting to get fatter skis (even for park and groomers) the obsethed's and kung fujas are also great choices from k2 that you would more than like.

K2 the skibums ski. (Rolls eyes)

I bet they got a bunch of skibums over there in china making them.

Buy an FKNA made in the USA product made by real skibums PM Gear, Moment, ON3P all are making great sticks.

I have the 2006 K2 Public Enemy and I absolutely loved the ski. I used it to throw down in the park and powder and everything. Then I bought a pair of Line Prophet 90s..and I was AMAZED. The Prophet is single-handedly one of the best all around skis out there. It's wide enough to rip some powder, has enough stability and forgiveness to hit those cliff drops, and has got plenty of flex for the park. I'm not sure what this ski can't do. I would highly recommend it.
