I'm looking for a ski that can perform well in park and pow... i am thinking about the (09) ar6s which i would get the 166. I also like the line Elizabeths in 172. By next season i will probably be 5,5 or 5,6 and will way somewhere near 120 - 140 pounds which skis sound better for how i want to use them and my specs.
ps. if anyone has suggestions about other skis i am totally cool with that...

for pow and park: anthem, prophet 90, ARV 165. EL Ray, Kunj Fujas.. that should be a good start.

Line anthems id have to say are one of the nicest park/pow ski they have a certain fatness to them but arent rockered as balls so you can still ski anything. as for size try something in the high 160s

i think i want to try lines but i just don't know which ones... the (09) blend look sweet same about the 09 chronics and the anthems... also the elizabeths i just dont know how thick to go. if i go for the elizabeths will i be at a huge disadvantage in the park? i also love armadas but i might want to try lines this year... how do they compare?

general rule of thumb:

shorter skis= faster rotation

longer skis=more stable

narrower skis= lighter and more controllable in groomers

wider skis=more stable flat and better in pow

big mountain skis=stiff, not very forgiving, but very stable

pow jibs like elizabeths= big, soft, and flexy, better at low speed

it all depends what you want, but i prefer wider jib skis like moment rockers

wait til next year tho

If i were to choose between the anthem, the blend and the elizabeth (all 09) which would be best for around 50/50 park/all mountain??? are the elizabeths too fat for park??? also does anyone know what lengths these skis will come in next year?

You would be fine with the AR6 but you might only get to use them for one season, if you were looking to have a ski for longer amount of time, then you should choose something bigger because you might grow out of and ski under 170
